Anwyn Griffiths
I’ve lived in Elwood with my family for nearly 20 years. Jimbo joined the family as a pup more than three years ago and confirmed how much I love dogs.
Jimbo wove his way into our hearts to the point I didn’t like leaving him at home on his own for extended periods. From this scenario, the idea of Jimbo’s Dog Shack was born.
I know how much people love their dogs and most people are super busy. I wanted to offer dogs something that was more than just a walk, but not every dog wants/needs an entire day in doggie daycare, where they return in a catatonic state. All dogs do need exercise and mental stimulation so they become more enjoyable to be around.
I believe three hours at Jimbo’s Dog Shack is the right balance for most dogs.
Jimbo makes this playgroup work. He is a Pugalier (half Pug and half Cavalier) and he LOVES having dogs around to play with – to chase or be chased or to sprint after a ball. He isn’t territorial about his back yard and embraces having new friends to play with.
Jimbo and I would love to meet your dog and have a fun morning/afternoon with them.
And, for your peace of mind…
